
Consortium Media is passionate about foster care and brings over 14+ years of experience working within child welfare systems. Our work ranges from local agencies such as Our County. Our Kids and Homes with Heart VC, formerly known as Foster VC Kids, regional CA agencies such as Aspiranet, and most recently expanding into Las Vegas, Nevada working with Clark County Department of Family Services (DFS). Clark County DFS had seen our successful Town Hall Event with motivational speaker Michael Sanders, who inspired social workers at Foster VC Kids to keep up the excellent work in Ventura County, and they requested that we bring it to Las Vegas.
Consortium Media utilized our 5 pillars of Marketing Success® to immediately develop a robust campaign that involved strategic messaging to spread awareness about the upcoming inspirational speaker event with Michael Sanders, and educate the public about the ongoing need for caregiver families in Clark County.
Following the success of the event, Clark County DFS entrusted Consortium Media to develop a creative way to go forward in the development of an ongoing movement to spread awareness and educate the local LV community about the need for foster care family recruitment. We worked with a dedicated foster family, the Rayners, to develop and share a heartwarming story through press and social media that inspires and encourages others to get involved and support local foster youth.
